Stories Behind My YouTube Journey
My main channel began as a project during my MA in Journalism and Mass Communication, where I explored documentaries, ads, and more. What started as an academic requirement soon turned into a creative pursuit. As my passion grew, I went beyond scripting, learning camera work, editing, and production to bring my ideas to life. Even outside projects, I invested time in creating documentaries, experimenting with ads, and expanding my portfolio. From internships to side hustles in events, every experience shaped my journey, making this channel a true reflection of my evolving skills and storytelling passion.
Documentaries
My passion for cinema truly began when I started making documentaries as part of my academic projects. Since then, I’ve created as many as time has allowed between my hectic 9-to-5 content writing job. This journey not only sharpened my storytelling but also laid the foundation for my scriptwriting. Today, I’m looking to step up, venturing into short films and eventually feature films, but it all started here—with documentaries shaping my creative vision.
News Anchoring
As part of my projects, I had the opportunity to anchor for G News. Competing among multiple teams, my team secured second place, and I was recognised for the best news anchoring. Reading from the teleprompter for the first time was both intense and exciting, pushing me to refine my skills. This experience even boosted my confidence, leading me to take on interviews with many guest speakers at GCC, further honing my presenting and storytelling abilities.

My love for filmmaking began with ad-making during my studies as part of academic projects. I’ve always been drawn to the storytelling power of ads—their ability to convey emotions in seconds. Later, while doing a side hustle in events, I got the opportunity to work on a Zee TV ad, an experience I’m truly grateful for. It was a stepping stone in building my portfolio and strengthening my passion for visual storytelling.
Podcast
I was thrilled to be featured in my first-ever podcast interview with NE8X for my debut novel, REGRETs. It was an incredible experience to share my thoughts, journey, and creative process while discussing the book. Being recognised as someone whose opinion mattered in the literary space made it even more special. This conversation was a milestone, marking the beginning of many more such opportunities to connect with readers and fellow writers.
My love for music began in school when I represented Mizoram’s 1st NCC pipe band team as a side drummer, gaining recognition through performances. After years, I reignited my passion for singing and playing the violin, an instrument I fell in love with after hearing it on the radio. Over time, I collected small instruments like the mouth organ and xylophone to enhance my vocals. I started with phone recordings and gradually moved on to composing, upgrading my equipment. Although my 9-to-5 job limits the time I can dedicate to music, it remains a vital part of my life, and someday, I hope to write music and record in a studio.
